Field Services

Sheltam Field Services consist of a dedicated team of Diesel Electric Fitters and their assistants. Based in the Witbank area they service the Sheltam Fleet of Locomotives operating at various sites in South Africa. A fleet of light delivery vehicles, which have been converted into mobile workshops, enable the artisans to maintain and service locomotives on site as well as in remote areas. These vehicles also allow the team to respond to any problem or breakdown within a couple of hours.
